Refund Policy
All sales are final. No Refunds or Credits will be issued for No-Shows or Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled class or lesson. All Single Group Class, Single Private Lesson, and Single Semi-Private Lessons expire 3 months after purchase date or at the end of the calendar year, whichever comes first. All 6 and 10 Pack Group Class, Single Private Lesson, and Single Semi-Private Lessons expire 6 months after purchase date or at the end of the calendar year, whichever comes first. Summer Program purchases expire at the end of August in the Calendar year purchased. Lessons or Classes missed outside of our cancellation guidelines cannot be refunded, rescheduled, or credited in any way. Purchases may be shared between family members or transferred to another member with written request submitted to admin@tennisworldnyc.com.
Customer Cancellation Policy
All customer cancellations must be submitted at least 48 hours prior to their class or lesson start time. All cancellations must be submitted by text to (929) 470-3235 and must include the student’s full name and appointment day and time. All cancellations within 48 hours of a scheduled class are subject to a 'no show' fee up to the full price of the class. By cancelling with greater than 48 hours notice, you will not be charged.
Tennis World Cancellation Policy
In the event that Tennis World must cancel a class or lesson, such as rain, we will try to reach students as quickly as possible by phone and text. Accounts will not be charged for cancellations issued by Tennis World and we will try to reschedule as quickly as possible. Since weather can be different between a student’s location and the class or lesson location, all cancellations Must be issued by or confirmed by Tennis World. Students concerned about the weather must call (929) 470-3235 prior to your scheduled class or lesson. If a student chooses not to arrive to a scheduled class or lesson and there is no cancellation by Tennis World, there will be no Refund issued.
Tennis World makes all effort to dry courts so we can proceed with classes and lessons, but our priority is to ensure a safe experience on the court.
Summer Program Cancellation Policy
Due to the time and cost to coordinate summer camp resources, Summer Program purchases are final and no refunds will be given for Summer Program cancellations. This includes all Full Day and Half Day Summer Camp, Early Pickup/Dropoff, and Transportation options. Weeks may be rescheduled, subject to availability, if you notify Tennis World by email at admin@tennisworldnyc.com at least 1 week prior to the first day of the scheduled camp.
Team NYC Membership Terms
Memberships will be charged automatically on a monthly basis. Members may pause or cancel membership in their own account or with a 15 day notice by emailing admin@tennisworldnyc.com.
Social Hitting Session priority will be given to members that register in advance online. Monthly members will be allowed to register online for up to 5 sessions each month. Unused sessions do not carry over to following months. Members may attend additional sessions if space allows or there are no-shows, but priority is given first to registered members.
All Hitting Session players MUST have their own NYC Parks Tennis Permit to play.
Hitting Session players should arrive 15 minutes early so sessions can start on time. If you are late your space may be given to another player. If you have RSVP'ed and cannot attend, have the courtesy to cancel your reservation with at least 72 hours notice so another player may use your spot. If you are unable to login to cancel, email or text as soon as possible. Tennis World reserves the right to remove frequent No-Shows from Team NYC.
Tennis World will make every effort to proceed with hitting sessions and avoid weather cancellations. If a session must be cancelled due to weather, Tennis World will notify all players registered with as much notice as possible. Call or text if you question whether a session is cancelled.

In purchasing and participating in activities with Tennis World, LLC I agree to and understand the following Terms and Conditions. In purchasing for and bringing a minor child or children to participate in activites with Tennis World, LLC I acknowledge that I am the parent or legal guardian, legally authorized to enter this agreement on behalf of the minor child or children indicated. I authorize the child or children indicated to participate in the programs sponsored by Tennis World, LLC and agree to the following conditions for myself and the minors indicated:
A. I recognize the importance of following staff instructions regarding training and rules, and agree to obey such instructions.
B. I certify I am in good physical condition, sufficient to use the facilities and participate in the program. I recognize that tennis, sports conditioning and physical activity, by its very nature, carries with it certain dangers and risks that cannot be eliminated regardless of the care taken to avoid injuries; that although activities may not be strenuous, injuries or medical complications may occur; that balance and physical coordination may affect the occurrence of accidents or falls; that the participant should ask about other potential hazards and recommended precautions; and that, in addition to physical activity, the participant may be subjected to risks associated with traveling in vehicles. I knowingly assume all risks associated with participation in the program.
C. Tennis World, LLC is not responsible for any personal belongings which may be lost, broken, missing or stolen.
D. I give permission for transportation by car, bus or subway in the event of emergency or inclement weather, or if registered for Pick Up Transportation or participation in a Field Trip.
E. I hereby authorize any medical treatment deemed necessary in the event of any injury to the participant while participating in any activity. I have appropriate insurance, or, if not, I agree to pay all costs of medical services incurred on my behalf.
F. I understand that video production and/or photography may be conducted during the Program. I fully and irrevocably grant to Tennis World, LLC, its agents, and its designees, the unqualified right and permission in perpetuity, to reproduce, copyright, publish, broadcast or otherwise use my name, image, likeness, voice, biography or other identification in any and all media now known or hereafter devised, for any commercial or non-commercial purpose at the sole discretion of Tennis World, LLC. I waive any right, claim or interest in such use and understand that there will be no compensation or other financial remuneration.
G. As a further condition of participation in the program, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, I, on behalf of myself, my executors, administrators, heirs, personal representatives, successors and assigns, release, waive, hold harmless and discharge Tennis World, LLC, the City of New York with its officials and employees, and others in any manner connected with any such program, event and/or other related activities, including, without limitation, the employees, officers, directors, agents and representatives of Tennis World, LLC, from any and all claims and demands of every kind, nature and character for any losses, injuries or damages that I may sustain, directly or indirectly, arising out of or related to traveling to or from or participating in any program, event and/or any other related activities on any legal theory whatsoever, regardless of whether caused by the negligence of the Released Parties (the “Released Claims”). To the maximum extent permitted by law, I hereby covenant and agree that I will not bring or be a party to any legal action or claim against the Released Parties for any reason based on any of the Released Claims. I agree to indemnify and hold harmless each of the Released Parties from any and all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, expenses, losses and costs of any kind (including, without limitation, attorneys’ fees and costs) caused by or arising out of my participation in any program, event and/or related activities, including, without limitation, my breach of any provision of this Consent and Wavier and any damages caused by me. I and Tennis World, LLC irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the federal or state courts in New York, New York in the event of any dispute, claim or action.
